Dear friends and readers,

Nearly one month has passed since I came back from a fascinating trip to Israel and Palestine.

I simply was unable to report while being there and after I came back because I was too busy.

After thinking and rethinking, I have decided to write this report in English rather than in French because I have so many contacts and friends who don’t read enough French.

To illustrate this first post, I decided to take a picture of the Israeli woman I admire the most: Shulamit Aloni. Shulamit brought to the Israeli political world, the notion of Human Rights and of women’s rights. She was a member of the Knesset , first within the Labour party that she left when she disagreed with the policies of Golda Meir. She founded a new party which became the Meretz Party. She was the Minister of Education, of Culture and telecommunications within the Rabin Government (1992-1995). She is a role model for me.

I will divide this recount into 5 chapters:

1. Sheikh Jarrah

2. New Israel Fund

3. My visit to Gaza

4. Palestinians in Israel

5. The International Women’s Commission for a Just and Sustainable Palestinian-Israeli Peace

Hello Simone,
I am so glad to find you on the net! Wow your visit sounds very rich!
I am living in France and I work as a coach, consultant and trainer!
I wish we can realise a project together one day.
Best wishes
